Melanie Kimball, UC Davis, presents "Investigating the effects of environmental perturbations on house sparrow neurobiology and behavior".

Dr. Melanie Kimball is a postdoctoral researcher at UC Davis in Dr. Felicity Muth's lab where she investigates the mechanisms underlying cognition in bumblebees. During her PhD at LSU, she studied the neurobiological mechanisms of personality in wild songbirds. Dr. Kimball is broadly interested in understanding how ecological, neurobiological, and physiological systems can influence behavioral plasticity in individuals, populations, and species.
