The Diaz laboratory uses molecular, cellular, and biochemical approaches to investigate nervous system development, with particular interests in neural proliferation and the molecular mechanisms controlling synapse development and function.

About the Series
The Science in Progress Talks are informal presentations of ongoing research projects by members of the Department of Pharmacology including faculty, students, postdoctoral scholars, and staff. These talks are designed to promote interactions within the department and provide individuals with an opportunity to obtain feedback on their research in progress.
