Join the marketing team at the Coastal and Marine Sciences Institute as an undergraduate writing intern, creating compelling content for our website, blog, newsletter, and social media channels. Applicants must be currently enrolled UC Davis undergraduate students with sophomore standing or higher. All majors are encouraged to apply, but some scientific training is preferred.

Aggies Leading the Way! 2025 Undergraduate Leadership Conference

The Center for Leadership Learning will host its free annual leadership conference for undergraduate students of all majors and minors, Aggies Leading the Way! (ALW), on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 10 am to 5 pm at the UC Davis Conference Center on campus.

This year’s conference offers two tracks based on class levels to meet you where you are in your journey. First- and second-year students will explore how to design a fulfilling college experience. Third- and fourth-year students will explore how to design pathways for life after graduation.

Nkonzo Wildlife Internship Opportunities

Seeking dedicated interns for durations ranging from 2 to 16 weeks to contribute to conservation and research initiatives.

Join Nkonzo Wildlife in an immersive study of white rhino behavior, with a specific focus on understanding the effects of dehorning—a crucial technique employed to mitigate the risk of poaching. This opportunity allows participants to engage directly with a team of dedicated rangers and seasoned researchers, working on the front lines of conservation. Interns will participate in fieldwork that involves tracking rhinos, monitoring their health and behavior, and collecting data that will contribute to comprehensive conservation strategies. The insights gained from this study are vital for developing effective measures to protect these majestic creatures.

In addition to hands-on experience, interns will delve into the complexities of wildlife management and conservation science. Contributions will play a significant role in shaping policies and practices aimed at ensuring the survival of white rhinos in their natural habitats.
