About the Series
The Joint Seminars in Molecular Biology series is a long-running UC Davis forum that brings leading scientists to campus to share advances across the molecular life sciences. Featuring distinguished speakers from academic and research institutions, the series highlights discoveries that deepen our understanding of cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying health, disease and biological function. By convening faculty, trainees and students across disciplines, the seminars foster scientific dialogue, spark new collaborations and strengthen the molecular biology community.

Sobhan Sen, Professor, School of Physical Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, presents “Extreme Dynamics in DNA: What we Learned from Time-Resolved Experiments and Simulation”.
