Research Interests

Graham Coop studies evolutionary genetics, with a focus on the processes that shape genetic variation within and between populations. His research combines theoretical, computational, statistical, and empirical approaches to examine patterns of population history, local adaptation, and speciation, as well as how natural selection, genetic drift, and gene flow influence genetic diversity and adaptation in humans and other organisms.
